Shipping policy

Thank you for choosing River Bend Meats! This Shipping Policy outlines important information regarding the shipping and delivery of our products. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@riverbendmeats.com.au.

1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship our products within Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia. We are unable to ship outside of the Hunter Valley at this time.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1 business day of delivery. Please note that during peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

3. Shipping Methods and Carriers

We utilise our own delivery van and driver via our butcher shop Barry's Meat Co. It's our friendly face that you will see bringing you our fresh meat, not a third party delivery service!

4. Shipping Charges

We have a flat delivery fee of $13, which is calculated during checkout.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times vary depending your location:

  • Fridays: Maitland LGA & Cessnock LGA, approx 9am-12pm

Please note that these are estimated delivery times and may be subject to unforeseen delays due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or carrier issues.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email/sms. Our driver will contact you on day of delivery to advise on estimated time for delivery. Please be available during this time to accept delivery.

7. Missed Delivery

Due to business restrictions, we are unable to arrange a second delivery attempt unless you pay an additional delivery fee of $13. Alternatively, you may still pick up your order from Barry's Meat Co, Cessnock. It is important that you are available during our proposed delivery window to avoid this.

8. Shipping Restrictions

We are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Additionally, certain perishable products may have specific shipping restrictions based on location and climate conditions.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

In the rare event that your shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at support@riverbendmeats.com.au. We will work with Barry's Meat Co to resolve the issue and ensure a satisfactory outcome for you.

10. Changes to Shipping Policy

River Bend Meats reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Policy on our website.
